In 1990 Flag Hill planted our first grapevines and in 1994 our first wine was bottled. We believe “Good wines are made in the cellar. Great wines are made in the vineyard.” This is why at Flag Hill we care as much about our soil as we do our cellar. The highest quality white wines can be produced from grapes grown here in New Hampshire. Come learn why we love our grapes. we grow cold-hardy grape varietals and specialize with semi-sweet, aromatic white wines. In 2004, Flag Hill Distillery opened its doors and became the first distillery in the state of New Hampshire. Expanding its portfolio from the early days of General John Stark Vodka, made from apples, Flag Hill has introduced rums, gin, brandy, liqueurs, and most recently, Straight Bourbon and Straight Rye Whiskey, which are made from grains we grow right on our farm. Flag Hill focuses on not only using high quality but real ingredients into the products we craft. So grab a friend and come to our farm to learn how Flag Hill turns the grain from our ground, into the liquid in your glass.
